REGIONAL MEETINGS
Regional meetings are one way in which we keep in touch with one another, share experiences, successes and failures and learn from each other.
There are many who have wide experience of chaplaincy and who have been involved in initiatives of one kind or another- these can give a lot of encouragement to chaplains who are new. But new chaplains also have creative ideas.
The good mix of experienced and new chaplains at any regional meeting makes for rich sharing - and each meeting has a pleasant social aspect too! So please put the dates in your diary now (see front page blog) and give these meetings a high priority.
For the purposes of these meetings the country is divided into five regions and the Chaplaincies in each Region are listed here.
But these boundaries are not rigid. If you find it easier to travel to a Region other than the one under which you are listed feel free to do so. The important thing is to be a t a meeting somewhere!
Usually chaplains who attend the same regional meetings tend to grow into a supportive unit.
